The Buddhist Chaitya-hall of cave N°10 at Ellora.

Dedicated to Vishwakarma, architect of the Gods. Vishwakarma had no connection with the Buddhist pantheon, but initiated by the Mahayana system, this commingling of concepts was eventually to lead to the absorption of Buddhism into Hindu thought.

Dédié à Vishwakarma, Vishwakarma, l'architecte des Dieux. Vishwakarma ne faisait pas parti du panthéon bouddhiste, mais avait été initié par le système Mahayana. Ce mélange des concepts devait finalement conduire à l'absorption du bouddhisme dans la pensée hindoue.
