Edward S. Herman (April 7th, 1925 - November 11th, 2017) was Professor Emeritus of Finance at the Wharton School,
University of Pennsylvania, an economist and media analyst. He
was the author of numerous books, including Corporate Control, Corporate
Power (1981), The Real Terror Network (1982), Manufacturing Consent
(1988, with Noam Chomsky), Manufacturing Consent has a
revised edition of 2002 (Pantheon) as well as a French version (La Fabrique de l'Opinion publique - La Politique économique des médias américains, Serpent à Plumes, 2003), Triumph of the Market (1995), The Myth of The Liberal Media: an Edward Herman Reader (1999),...
